It recaps some of the most widely known and broadly discussed tips about job seeking, and presents them clearly and concisely. Unlike other job-hunting books that have been in print for over 30 years, this book is filled with fresh ideas for today's tough times.

Nurse Anesthetist

The nurse anesthetist works in the operating room and gives anesthetics to patients undergoing operations. The nurse has complete responsibility for safety of the procedure, and usually works without supervision from an anesthesiologist. They work in all areas of anesthesiology, from general surgery to the delivery room and in dentistry requiring general anaesthetics, or in pain control clinics. The nurse anaesthetist prepares patients, takes a medical history and explains procedures, administers anaesthetics and monitors the patient during surgery, and keeps a record of the course of anaesthesia. The nurse is trained to respond appropriately to critical situations arising during treatment, and works with the health care team to ensure patient safety.
