An important part of medical teams working to rehabilitate patients after prolonged inactivity, the kinesiotherapist is a specialist in movement science. He works with the patient to build a program of activities, presents appropriate exercises and guides the patient in learning new ways of using muscles, using therapies such as water resistance, weight resistance and physiotherapy techniques. After setting treatment goals together with the physician, he monitors progress and keeps records of exercise sessions.
