It recaps some of the most widely known and broadly discussed tips about job seeking, and presents them clearly and concisely. Unlike other job-hunting books that have been in print for over 30 years, this book is filled with fresh ideas for today's tough times.

Biostatitician

An essential part of any research team, the biostatitician is responsible for designing statistical models, defining research questions in mathematical terms and interpreting data collected in experiments. He works together with other scientists to ensure that research is statistically valid, and is involved in all stages of research. He helps design experiments in areas relevant to health, for instance on effectivity of drugs or prevalence of specific diseases in a community, and collates and presents the results mathematically. He is responsible for extracting statistically significant findings from data, and for writing the statistical section of published research. He often works in university or hospital funded research.
